nearing Labfest

Last Sunday, I went to CCP complete with swollen ankle. At least it was better than the day before. Light plotting during the first hour of rehearsal at the Batute with Joseph and Ed, and I had to be on my toes the whole time. Rawr, because we ran the whole thing as we didn't exactly have all the lighting cues, we exceeded our given time by two minutes. Then we moved to the LT stage and ran through the entire play (minus music and sound effects) twice. During the second time, Sir Jaime even told the cast that I won't be calling any cues whatsoever, and as an acting exercise, they had to maximize the entire stage and we'd be watching from the audience.

After striking our props and putting everything away in the prop room, I managed to catch up with the cast at Mang Inasal. Then we decided to head back to CCP to hang out somewhere, and after walking around from the LT lobby to the Silangan Hall, we ended up back at the LT lobby. Russ started this whole "Papayag ka ba na sa iyo ang CCP... pero..." thing, which Anna also kept contributing to. When it was just Anna, Russ and me left lying on the carpet of the lobby, I decided to join Carlo and Micah at RCBC for the matinee of ZsaZsa Zaturnnah, as Micah wanted to watch it, plus Sykes had bought the evening show.

Saw the 1st act of the matinee show, then we just hung out in the lobby of the auditorium after that.

I miss sitting at the front-of-house. I never got to experience it in Doubt with all the free food. In Beauty and the Beast, we had a blast because the concessionaire was always open for us (Gloria Jeans and Wetzel's Pretzels, yum), plus we can sleep on the couches when everyone's already inside. So eventually, Carlo, Micah and I got bored after a while.

Caught the entire evening show with Carlo. We sat in the very last row of orchestra right during the first act, then we moved to the loge for the second act. I have to admit, I still prefer Tuxqs' Ada than Vince's. Vince was a bit cartoony at times, and Tuxqs managed to keep his character on the same level and energy as K's ZsaZsa. And I've still got to hand it to Nar, as he could adjust to both interpretations of Ada.

Met up with Tin this afternoon, and we went to CCP together, as she had to give something to Nicco. Ended up hanging out again with Anna, Russ and Riki in the LT lobby. Tin had to leave after a while, then Riki had rehearsal for My Padir is an OCW right there in the lobby. The rest of us decided to sneak a peek in the Batute Theater where Teroristang Labandera is having their DTR. Finished the DTR then left the theater again. Russ had to leave, and Anna and I returned to the LT lobby. That was when I realized the quiet between us. We knew each since Ritmo Enkwentro, but then I don't think we have that much in common. But after a while, we ended up talking until some other people arrived in the lobby, then we walked to the LT dressing rooms where they have rehearsals for The Palanca In My Mind. I decided to leave them right after I had helped Anna and Tara bring in their boxes into their rehearsal venue.

I have this empty feeling, arg. I hate it.

"Her world is greater than the cave that once imprisoned him."

I love that line from our play. When Nicco had delivered that line during our Saturday morning rehearsal, I couldn't help it but my eyes welled up and I couldn't explain why.

Anyway, I keep having that empty feeling almost every day now. And even though I sometimes forget to eat, no, this is not hunger, hahaha. Though I have to admit, finding creamy mashed potatoes with chives and homemade gravy when I got home earlier was sheer simple joy.

Now time to bring out a bar of Twix for more happiness, hehehe. =)

swollen ankle

Rom and I met up at CCP yesterday so we could go to RCBC together to observe Chynna as she calls the show of ZsaZsa Zaturnnah from the tech booth. When we got to the auditorium, we got to stay in the lobby until open house before we were let in. Found Tops in the lobby, and the 3 of us sat at the table right across from the TP booth. Even got to have a little small talk with Kuya Manny about our upcoming show in Atlantis. Then he was joined by Mekmek and Ruby before Chynna finally took us to the tech booth, where I found Kuya Eric still working there.

A few pointers before the show opened, then it was showtime. I watched cue after cue being called, and I suddenly realized that I really was going to do He-Me-She-It (dubbed "Pronouns" by Carms, hahaha!) on my own. Yayks.

Hahaha, the "layas" was still hilarious. Instead of just Nar doing the silent cry, this time, Vince also did it, and they did it simultaneously, hahahaha! And half the time, when Arnold breathed in between in his lines during songs, parang humihigap ng sabaw. Are you endorsing your latest commercial, dearie? Hahaha.

Early call time this morning, as we had to record one sound effect in the Little Theater lobby. Holy kamote, when I went up from the tech booth to check up on things and was on my way out, I didn't realize how high the door was that I didn't see the additional step on on side. I tripped and twisted my ankle, rawr. It hurt a lot then that I had to sit down behind the seats for a couple of minutes before I returned to the dressing room. I was already limping and my ankle was ready to swell. To make things worse, the CD players I got won't cooperate, and won't play Sir Jaime's CD. Rawr.

After rehearsal, I had to strike our stuff, and by the time I was done and had dropped by the TP office, I found our cast hanging around by the elevators while having their lunch. We all ended up hanging out at the LT lobby after that.

I claimed that I had already ate by the time I saw them, but I was actually starving and didn't want to admit it. Thank goodness that Russ brought Pringles, hahaha. After quite a while just sitting and lying around on the carpet, I decided to think about what to eat for a late lunch. Suddenly I got a text message from Aris. Apparently Tita Lita had bought to much food and decided to invite us to join them for dinner at Dampa along Macapagal. So Aris picked me up and we headed over there.

Yumm.. seafood galore. There really was so much food! We got to meet Stefan, this guy that Rosa works for in Switzerland. Hahaha, by the time we were done eating, it was videoke time! To take my mind of my ankle that was already swelling, I took this as an opportunity just give videoke singing a try. Yahoo, only two of us got a score of 100. Naks.

By the by, Sir Roeder's finally back from Germany. Found him outside the main entrance off CCP talking to Direk Victor of Kasaysayan. When he saw me and asked what I was up to, I said that I was part of the Labfest, but as an ASM and not as an actor. Once again, he scolded me lightly about gaining enough courage to act. He looked at Direk Victor and said, "Ang ganda-gandang babae nito, takot umarte, eh kaya naman niya." Then he turned to me and told me that I should want it badly enough if I really wanted to act. He's right.

CONQUER IT, HOGI!

rare pondering

It's hard to pretend that things are all right. That things are fine and dandy, and "normal." I never realized how hard it is to act natural, when things get awkward.

Oh shut up, Hogi. Consider this an "actor's challenge."

"Actor's nightmare" is more like it, hahaha. Thanks for the term, Sir Jaime.

To repeat what I had told Teena, if anyone had given me a hug today, I probably would've burst into tears for some reason that I can't seem to define.

Just looking at the past makes me think and remember everything all over again, and miss it. And in front of everyone, I have to paste a smile on my face to show that I'm "OK." And as a result, I end up shirking a few duties. And some people are of no help at all.

By the time I arrived home this evening, I wanted to crash. I felt so tired and lonely.

Again, Hogi. Shut up. "Conquer it!"

Those quotable quotes our actors had scribbled in the margins of their scripts seem to have come in handy.

My headache's gone, but my head's spinning. I need to lie down.

little peeks

I had to lug 5 wicker baskets from my house to CCP today. Rawr. It was tough to find an FX that can accommodate both me and all 5 baskets, but I lucked out hailing one that didn't get much passengers, so I didn't have to pay for the extra seat.

Tin and I met up after I had stashed the baskets in the prop room, and we ended up hanging out around CCP the entire evening. I was surprised to find Myra outside LT's backstage area waiting for Palanca in My Mind rehearsals, but then I realized that Joseph was doing the lights, so it wasn't really much of a surprise. So Tin, Myra and I watched the cast try to recall everything they did from last year. Eika even arrived from MBC and joined us. When they decided to take a break before they began the Miss Saigon parody, Tin and I led the way to Batute so Myra can check out Elias Inosentes. We managed to see the 2nd half of the play while we were there, then I went back to LT to check out more of Palanca.

Hahaha, for some reason, on our way back to Taft, Wenah happened to mention Lance, that macho dancer from Michelle's birthday party last year. To those who had seen him then and even met him, have you guys noticed that he looks a lot like ZsaZsa Zaturnnah's Janvier Daily? Nicco and I realized it just earlier this evening. HAHAHAHA!

more rehearsals

I still have a lot to learn in this business. The learning really never ends anywhere anyway. There's always something new. I thought I was confident enough to handle a few things, but when you put everything together, suddenly there's a lot more for both arms to carry. Anyway, I realized that I still don't know how to call cues an entire show, hahaha. Which is why for the sake of our respective Labfest plays, Rom and I will be sitting in the tech booth with Chynna in ZsaZsa Zaturnnah this Friday evening. And to think that we're both theater majors in school, ahahaha.

And even though I'm supposed to feel comfortable working where the actors are my friends, I'm still intimidated by them, ahahaha. Can't wait when we're done with rehearsals so a little pressure's by then.

Pictorials for Labfest today, and after our prod was done, Sir Jaime made Nicco, Missy and Kat throw lines outside the conference room. Then after grabbing a bite in Jollibee, a bunch of us bummed in the lobby of the Little Theater while Kasaysayan was rehearsing nearby. That was where Ed had found me when he was looking for an ASM to stand-in for rehearsals of Three Sisters. Holy kamote, I was the only one available, because the ASMs that didn't have rehearsals had already left. But when I got to Batute where Three Sisters was rehearsing, Jose (the director) and the cast just sat down to read through the script because it had just been edited. Anyway, I just stayed there for about an hour and half then I said that I was about to leave. I ended up still staying and helping Rom put their props away then talking in the prop room, hahaha.

Time to sleep. Lots more to do tomorrow.

the end of a series of headaches

Last Thursday, after He-Me-She-It rehearsals with our 3 lead actors, a bunch of us (Nicco, Kat, Daniel, Chrome, Anna, Sugus and I) went to RCBC for the DTR of ZsaZsa Zaturnnah. Despite the headache that has been bugging me since Wednesday, I managed to forget it when we got to RCBC.

We arrived a little too early, so we hung around at Java Man, with Chrome repeating a couple of magic tricks that he showed us. Found Mimay with Ayn, Leo, Dohna and some other UP friends milling about, and soon, there were lots of people already waiting in the theater lobby. So we left Java Man and stood at the head of line right away, hahahaha! More familiar faces, and of course, BFFs Carlo and Zee were there, plus Nikki and Tin.

It was already 7:30 and the house hadn't opened yet. Then Ms Yvette managed to usher us into the loge section ahead of open house, nyahahaha.

We sat in the same row as Arnold and Sir Jed. Hahaha, when Sir Jed saw Nicco, Nikki and I sitting together, he said his famous, "Kayo nanaman?" HAHAHA!

Per usual, the play never failed to make everyone laugh. Punchline after punchline, and the new K and Nar tandem was a hit. Of course, sometimes K made too much adlibs that if ever she went a little overboard, she would seem like she came out of a sitcom. She was funny, yes, but sometimes all I could see onstage was K and not ZsaZsa Zaturnnah herself. But Nar! We loved you! Everyone loved you as Didi! Congrats! Despite falling wigs and lapel mics and finding echos, you were hilarious! And I finally got to watch a Dodong other than Arnold perform, hehe.

After the show, the cast was in the lobby, per usual. Congrats to everyone! Despite my headache that Chrome and Sugus just had to add to, I had a blast. And because of that headache, I opted to go home instead of having dinner with the crazy bunch.

Speaking of those headaches, my mom and I went to Sta. Cruz at around noon today after my meeting at TP. We had to meet Kuya Boy at the optical shop he works for to have my eyes checked, plus my mom wanted to get new frames for her glasses. I also brought a pair of frames to have new glasses made. I knew it, the cause of these series of headaches were due to my eyes. And it wasn't what I had expected. The grade of my eyes are lower than it was before, yay! So I had new glasses made, in just 20 minutes and half the price that I would get it for in other optical shops. Thanks to Kuya Boy and Doc Betty!

So now I'm giving my eyes a little time off from contact lenses...

Ew, I look sabog because this was taken after a long day.

Then it was off to Sir Jaime's house for He-Me-She-It rehearsals with Nicco, Missy and Kat. And of course, pizza was present again, courtesy of Missy. So by the time we were waiting for Nicco's final monologue to finish, we were starving that we set the table for eating while he was giving his last lines.

Stopped by Betty's office after rehearsal, as I haven't seen this girl in a while. Caught up on each other's news, bugged her as she worked, and visited the gallery downstairs, where I got to meet Deo and Cleng (sp?) who were setting up the place for the event for next Friday.

Time to hit the sack. Despite that fact that it's Fathers' Day, we still have rehearsals in the afternoon. In the words of Cindy, "G'mornight!"

rehearsal with pizza

Just got home about half an hour ago. Huwatta day.

Labfest rehearsals this afternoon was quite productive. Eventful too, hahaha! Missy was late because she had said that Roxas Boulevard was closed, so I told her to pass through Taft. I'm not really going to elaborate on this one, but her last phone call was when she had gotten off a cab and ended up not knowing where she was. She turned up in Sta Mesa, holy kamote. To make up for it, she ended up buying pizza for us, ahahaha. So we made up a crazy rule that whoever's late buys pizza for everyone.

Here's a little something. I once got to talk to Ms Yvette about my cousin that she knew from before. She told me some weird news about Kaths that I've never heard from her herself. Then when I mentioned my cousin this afternoon to Sir Dennis, he said the same thing as an inquiry. I have no clue about this bit of news, so I just claimed that I wasn't really close to that part of the family. I guess my cuz and I need a bit more bonding time.

Anyway, after rehearsals, I bummed around with Nicco at the LT lobby, and Leo joined us for a while then left. The two of us decided to grab a bite at the buffeteria and found Leo there as well, with Wenah joining us a few minutes after we got there.

Off to the conference room with Nicco, Wenah and Leo. Hehehe, baby bro wanted to check out Zsazsa's run-through, because he had never seen even one single scene of the play before. Waited for Mailes to arrive before we decided to go inside, hahaha. We even met Barney, Sir Chris' labrador. My golly, such an adorable thing!

So anyway, I finally got to watch a full run-through rehearsal (how redundant, ahaha). Hahaha, to those who will be watching this 5th run of ZsaZsa Zaturnnah, I promise you that you will not regret it, even for those who had already seen it during its previous runs. So many new lines and jokes, I could barely contain my laughter as the cast's laughter was also contagious.

Then after the rehearsal, a whole bunch of us were starving, hahaha. So decided to have a late dinner in Malate (I forgot what place that was). There was Nar, Tara, Marj, Bong, Lao, Jerald, Janvier, Mailes, Nicco and me. Hahaha, Nicco just had to mention to Lao about Magno Rubio. He's been talking about that play ever since he had seen Lao in it before they had met. When we had had our fill, we bid our goodbyes to Mailes and Nar, and the rest of us went to O Bar for a while before I headed home.

Another day begins. Time to turn in.

GTF audition and Asalto at CCP

Went to GTF auditions this afternoon. First met up with Gino and Cindy along Taft, then we walked to the venue together. Huwaw, there were lots of people milling around outside the building. And you'll always expect to find at least one familiar face in the crowd, hahaha. I found Ren, Bong, Joel and Jacq, and by the time we were waiting on the stage, I even got to talk to Pam. Holy kamote, I can't believe that Pam had tried out for ZsaZsa Zaturnnah and almost made it as one of the Amazonistas. Huwaw.

It's been 8 years since I stood in front of Mr. Tony Espejo. Hahaha. Amd there I was again.

After the audition, I hopped on a jeep and headed for CCP for the Independence day show at the Main Theater. I was told it was a freebie, and by the time I got there, it was 15 minutes before the show was about to begin. Found Mandy and her friend Christine in the lobby, and we managed to get our tickets almost 5 minutes before the show was about to start. Hello, our tickets were for Balcony 2. Rawr. But thank goodness my seat was in the section's 1st row. I was leaning over the railing the whole time to get a better view.

I want to do a review of the show per number, but Jerald took my program. Rawr. Anyway, there were quite a huge number of guests, which included Bito, Eula Valdez, Margie Moran, the Philippine Idol finalists, the Madrigal Singers, and I can't remember the rest. One of my favorite numbers were when the dancers from Ballet Philippines were in swimsuits, as a tribute to the Pasig River. I have to admit that I wasn't wow-ed by the Philippine Idols' number. And of course, I'm not leaving this next one out! Eula came onstage dressed as ZsaZsa Zaturnnah and started mentioning some of our national heroes. Then she followed it up with local superheroes, from comic books to TV and movies. There was Panday, Mulawin, Dyesebel, Super Twins (HAHAHAHA!), Bondying, Lastikman, and I forgot the rest. The last mentioned was "for luck," and before I had to wonder who will be mentioned, in comes the higanteng palaka from ZsaZsa, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Then they started singing "Ikaw ang Superhero ng Buhay Ko" from ZsaZsa Zaturnnah! And then Darna made a grand entrance by flying over them with a Philippine flag. At aba, may moment pa siya with Panday, Hahaha!

After the show, I ended up going to Tapa King with some of them. There was Nar, Marj, Nicco (though he wasn't part of the show this year; he just came to watch), Jerald, Tara, Carlon, and JK. That's when Jerald saw that his name was in the program along with the Philippine Idol segment, and got to keep my program for himself. *bonk* All because he was that darn Christmas tree who popped out of the balikbayan box, wahehehe.

Rawr, I still want a program. I did get a souvenir flag that came with it, but I'm used to leaving a show with a program. Oh well.

Back to life tomorrow. Enough with being a superfriend and other frustrations. Focus, Hogi.

trying to be a "superfriend" again

- Musta na ang life?
- Maraming problema...
- "Maraming problema...?" Bakit naman?
- Eh ganun talaga eh.
- Pero ok ka lang?
- Ok lang. *smiling face*
- You sure? Ikaw pa-smile smile ka diyan tapos maraming problema pala. Well, if ever you need anything or anyone to talk to, andito lang si Hogi na makulit. =P
- Salamat. *smiling face*

Here I go again.

thanksgiving concert and return to Malate

Yesterday was Jun's concert at Equitable PCI tower 2, called Higher Ground. It was his thanksgiving concert for getting accepted in the Manhattan School of Music as a scholar. He had asked me to be his stage manager ages ago, and it was only this week that I had agreed to do the job, hahaha.

There wasn't much to do, really. We just checked the lights in the venue if it was fine for the intimate concert while Jun and the guest artists rehearsed their songs. That's what I like when I work for Jun, hehehe. Sometimes he can tell things at the last minute but everything's pretty easy. Aside from the last minute addition of a song in the repertoire, things went pretty smoothly. And former First Lady Imelda Marcos attended the show! Huwaw.

After the show, I found out that Zee was also in Makati. She and her friend Dyown had just seen the Piolo and Regine movie in Greenbelt, so I met up with her so we can all go and meet Carlo together. Off we went to Robinson's Place where Carlo was and ended up eating at McDonald's with Mekmek and Oliver, thanks to Zee's gift certificate. Hahaha, we still had a burger, spaghetti and fries left over!

Back to Malate for leafletting. Some had decided to have a round of drinks first before we began, so we settled at the place where they had been to last week. Ruby and Tops followed after a while, then it was time to get back on our feet. It was pretty uneventful except for this one balikbayan guy at the squidball stand in front of Gilligan's who seemed keenly interested in the show. And for a moment I thought I saw a familiar face sitting at one of the tables outside Gilligan's. Ahahaha, it was Dang, with Alex, Pam and Sir Manolet. So I went over to them and handed them some of my flyers. "Naglalako ka ng show ng Zsazsa?" said Sir Manolet. Ahehehehe.

We ended up in front of Penguin after a long while of walking. Someone had said that we could try handing out flyers there. But there seemed to be this unapproachable crowd hanging around outside the place, so we just passed by it. When we walked by it a second time, we found Marj and Lao. Hahaha, Marj said that they can help out so we gave some flyers to them.

Walk again, and then later MJ and JM had to leave, and Oliver and I followed suit.

Lots of things going on this week. See y'all at CCP for Asalto, and RCBC for the DTR and opening of ZsaZsa Zaturnnah Ze Musikal! Break a leg to all those performing!

juggling

I'm starting to juggle a lot of things right now. I have to admit, I don't want to be put in the "in transition" situation, because I don't want to get bored and restless. So a lot of things have been going on right now, all at almost the same time.

Met the director and the cast of He-Me-She-It last Wednesday. I lucked out getting to work with TP Actors Company, as I already know most of them as friends or friends of friends. Sir Jaime, whom I used to know as "Tito Jaime" because that's what my friends from Trumpets call him, was our director, and it was quite an interesting first meeting. The play is roughly translated from Thai to English, and of course, script analysis was first in the agenda. The text was open to interpretation, and it was interesting just listening to the actors give their own input. And what was even more interesting was that I heard more English than Filipino from them because of our director, ahehehe.

I have to admit, I wasn't happy with how I worked that day. I was off, I forgot a lot, my mind was floating, and I wasn't in the mood for anything. Until after the rehearsal ended, because finally I got to be my perky self again. Unfortunately, my timing was off. My perkiness, plus the rarity of sharing. Because of one random quip by Tad, I fell victim to Sugus' and Chrome's hirits. And it didn't help one bit when we dropped by the conference room and my timing was once again off as I had emerged from the prop room. Hahahaha!

Late this afternoon, we had a rehearsal at Sir Jaime's place, but this time it was only with Nicco, Missy and Kat. My oh my, a long way to go. Does this mean more pushups, arm wrestling and Nintendo DS for Nicco? Hahaha!

By the way, check out this link that I got from Carlo.

http://www.pep.ph/guide/736/Zsa-Zsa-Zaturnnah-zooms-once-more-starting-June-15!-

Hahaha, the photo there was taken during the evening that Carlo, Ruby, Tops and I went to visit ZsaZsa Zaturnnah rehearsals. Ahehehe, cast na pala tayo! HAHAHAHA!

Oh yeah, when I had gotten off the shuttle in front of Greenbelt this morning, I was surprised to see Iam emerging from the mall. Hahaha, what a nice surprise. Because I still had time before going to the office and she was waiting for Ge to pick her up, we got to hang out for a while, sitting on the steps in front of Greenbelt 1 and talking. Those few minutes with Iam this morning actually made my day. Then I realized that we never got to really talk anymore. I've been out of touch with a lot of people lately, and I totally regret that my best friends are included. Iam, magkita naman tayo ulit maski tambay at usap lang. Miss ko na kayo ni Rosa, sobra. At walang biro, may luha pa yan.

Labfest meeting and Zaturnnah leafletting

Went to the TP office late yesterday morning for a meeting about the Virgin Labfest, and my oh my, for a while, I got a bit overwhelmed but hopefully I can still survive, hahaha. After the meeting, I hung around the office with Ed, Max and Tuxqs so I could photocopy our script, plus get the contact numbers of our play's cast. Hahaha, kulit ni Tuxqs. When he noticed that the guy in the calendar on the desk next to where he was looked like Ed, he grabbed a pen and drew glasses around the guy's eyes, hahaha! Now that you look at it, it really did look like Ed.

Killed time at Harbour Square. Waited for ages for Tin to arrive, and by the time she did, I had already eaten lunch, consumed a frappuccino, and read He-Me-She-It twice. Talked while waiting for the time, then off we went to Robinson's Place where we were meeting up with Carlo and Zee. We got there before they did, and after 15 minutes, we finally found Carlo.

Settled at Gloria Jeans while waiting for Zee. Hahaha, when Zee finally arrived, Carlo had said that the Piolo and Regine movie wasn't showing in that mall, and to think that that was Zee's requirement for joining us! We talked about anything under the sun until Carlo finally said that he was lying, hahaha! Waited for Carlo's other friends (Kuya Jay and Mekmek) to arrive, then after a while, though we were waiting for Ruby and Tops, we decided to go ahead to Malate for the leafletting we had planned. Thank goodness Mekmek had a car, hahaha.

We decided to eat first when we had arrived in Malate, and after walking around for quite some time, we ended up at this bulalo place. Ahehehe, comments galore on the food, specially on the bulalo that Mekmek had ordered. Sakit sa bato ang tapa, hahaha. And once again, score for Carlo, as he had told Zee that her food had cost P125, hahaha!

Time to give out the flyers. Unfortunately, there wasn't much of a crowd yet because it was too early for a Saturday night out. By the time Ruby and Tops had arrived, Tin had to go home, so I might as well go with her, as she didn't have anyone to go home with, plus I didn't really say anything to my mom as to coming home late, ahehehe. Darn.

another rehearsal sneak peek

I went to CCP late yesterday afternoon to meet with Carlo, who had a meeting with Yvette about showbuying concerns. By the time I reached Harbour Square, where Carlo had said he was at, he was at Starbucks with  Tuxqs and showbuying partner Ruby. Lent Carlo a DVD (ahehe), a little small talk with Tuxqs about Avenue Q, Dogeaters and of course, the upcoming Virgin Labfest, and after a while, our dear Ada had to leave for rehearsal. More talk with Carlo and Ruby as to having a whole lot of patience with someone (hahaha!) until Yvette arrived from the TP office. Ahehe, Christopher, Ruby's boyfriend, arrived even before Yvette did. So anyway I got to sit-in during their meeting. Well, some of it made sense, but some... well, let's just say that I didn't buy it but was too polite to say anything.

Somewhere in the middle of the conversation, it started drizzling, so we decided to head over to Silangan Hall where the Zsazsa cast was rehearsing and continue the meeting there. The cast was rehearsing "Magsasalpukan Na" when we got there, so while I was still listening in on the meeting with Yvette, most of the conversation was drowned out by the song, hahaha.

And at last, I finally got my hands on Tuxqs' Temptation Island video. Hahaha, I just had to remind Jerald about it just so I can borrow it.  Hay nako, after the nth time of asking, I finally got it. May special request pa for CD burning. *bonk*

Anyway, after the meeting, we watched the rehearsals, and waited for Jing and the photographer to arrive. The photographer was taking quite a long while, so Carlo, Ruby, Christopher and I decided to have dinner first, and settled at Icebergs. The photographer, Joe (was that his name, Carlo?) arrived in the middle of dinner, but good thing we still had this huge King Kong thing for dessert.

After dinner, we headed back to Silangan Hall so Joe can take photos of the rehearsal. Hahaha, after their coffee break, of course the blockbuyers just had to have a photo op with the cast. They insisted that I join the photo, but even though I had refused, they still got me to join.

And now it's a Friday night and I'm sitting at home. Already watched half of <i>Temptation Island</i> but maybe I'll watch the rest tomorrow. And speaking of tomorrow, I have to remember that I still can't sleep in, ahahaha.
